Sara Gezdari is your local Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Richmond Park.
As a young child she fled Albania with her family during the 1997 civil war and grew up in Italy. She went on to study International Politics at the University of Bologna.
The harrowing experience of her formative years made an indelible mark on Sara and instilled a deep appreciation for freedom and democracy. Sara is a committed advocate for local voices and believes it is vital that local people are heard. Sara's priority is people.
Richmond Park embraced Sara with its strong community spirit, family values and beautiful green spaces that became a loving home for her and her two young children.
Single mother to Edoardo and Sofia, Sara is steadfast in ensuring our young people have the best start to life. A life where they are safe on our streets, benefit from a strong education and enjoy clean air and our beautiful parks.
As former Deputy Chair for the Richmond Park & North Kingston Conservative Association, previous Ward Chair for Ham Petersham & Richmond Riverside, Deputy Chair for South West London and a Global Women Empowerment Representative, Sara has a proven track record in championing key issues that matter most to us and affect our day-to-day lives.
